The 2009 South West Astronomy fair takes place this Saturday 8th August at the Norman Lockyer Observatory in Sidmouth Devon.

I will be attending the fair, although, on the day I am more likely to be involved with astronomy than radio. I look forward to seeing you there.

This is the only event of its kind in the South West of England. If you are interested in Astronomy this is a good opportunity to visit the observatory, attend some first class lectures by leading astronomers and to see the latest astronomical and related equipment on show at the various trade stands. The Observatory has its own Planetarium and will provide regular presentations. Telescope dome tours will take place throughout the day and refreshments will be available.

The event takes place on Saturday, 8th August 2009, from 9 am to 6 pm.
